FAQ: Bedrock says it can't connect, but the IP is right

I added a Bedrock server with the address from the listing but it just says it can't connect. What am I missing?

Bedrock needs two things: the address and the port.
- Enter the address in Server Address and the number in Port. The default is 19132, but check the listing, because it may differ.
- Java and Bedrock use different ports, so don't reuse the Java one.
- Make sure the server really supports Bedrock. Servers marked Java + Bedrock have a separate Bedrock address on their page.
- On consoles you can't add a custom server directly. Use friends or the featured servers list.
