How ranking, voting, Votifier rewards, and listings work on this Minecraft server list.
What is MCServerShare?
MCServerShare is a free Minecraft server list — browse mc servers across every game mode, vote for your favorites, and create a free account to add your own Minecraft server to the list. Both Java and Bedrock servers are supported.
How is the server ranking calculated?
Servers are ranked by the number of votes received in the trailing 30 days — a rolling window, not a fixed daily/monthly reset. Ties are broken by newest listing first.
How often can I vote for a server?
Once every 24 hours per server. If you're logged in, the cooldown is tied to your account; if not, it's tied to your IP address.
Do I need an account to vote?
No — anyone can vote. A free account lets you heart/favorite servers to find them again later, comment, and list your own server.
How many servers can I list?
One server per free account. You can edit or replace your listing any time from your dashboard.
How do in-game voting rewards (Votifier) work?
If your server runs NuVotifier with its classic V1 listener enabled (on by default), open your listing's edit page, check "Reward players who vote," and enter your Votifier host, port, and public key (found in plugins/NuVotifier/public.key). There's a "Send test vote" button to confirm your server receives it before relying on it. When a player votes with their Minecraft username entered, we relay that vote to your server immediately — we don't control what reward your server gives, that's entirely your own plugin configuration.
Why does a server show as offline?
We check status live when you view a server's page, plus a daily background refresh. If a server shows offline but you know it's up, double-check the address/port on the listing and that the server isn't blocking status pings via firewall.
How do I edit or delete my listing?
Go to your dashboard and select "Edit listing." You can update any field or delete the listing entirely from that page.
Can I delete a comment I posted?
Yes — you can delete your own comments any time; other users can't.
How do I report a listing or comment?
Email support@mcservershare.com with a link to the content and what's wrong with it, and we'll review it.
Is MCServerShare free?
Yes, browsing, voting, and listing a server are all free. The site is supported by ads.
