Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mcservershare.com (the "Service"), operated by MCServerShare ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MCServerShare is a free directory where users can browse Minecraft servers and, with a free account, list their own. We are not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or any server listed on the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account and listing information and for keeping your login credentials secure. Free accounts may list one server at a time.

3. User Content & Conduct

You're responsible for anything you submit — your listing, description, banner image, and comments ("User Content"). You agree not to post content that:

• is illegal, harassing, hateful, or threatening
• impersonates another person or server
• contains malware, phishing links, or other malicious content
• is spam, misleading, or a duplicate of another listing
• infringes someone else's intellectual property rights

Manipulating the voting system — including bot voting, incentivized voting outside your own server's in-game rewards, or vote manipulation of any kind — is prohibited and may result in listing or account removal.

4. Content License

You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute it as part of operating the Service.

5. Voting & Voter Rewards

Votes are used to rank listings and are subject to a cooldown per account or IP address. If you enable Votifier integration on your listing, we relay a vote notification to your server when someone votes for it, on a best-effort basis. We do not control, and are not responsible for, whether your server successfully receives that notification or delivers an in-game reward — that depends entirely on your own server's configuration.

6. Third-Party Servers

MCServerShare does not operate, control, or vouch for any server listed on the Service. Connecting to a listed server is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for anything that happens on a third-party server, including data loss, bans, or disputes with server operators.

7. Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@mcservershare.com with a description of the work, its location on the Service, and your contact information, and we'll investigate.

8. Termination

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listed servers are accurate, safe, or currently online.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCServerShare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any third-party server you connect to through it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States applicable to agreements made and performed therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
