Why voting exists
Votes tell other players which servers are worth trying. On a server list, the servers with the most recent votes appear higher. That makes voting a free, simple way to support a server you enjoy and to help new players find it.
What Votifier is
Votifier is a small plugin that lets a server list tell a Minecraft server that someone voted. The server can then run a command, such as giving the voter in-game currency, a crate key or items. Each server decides its own rewards.
How voting works here
- Open the server page and press Vote.
- If the server offers vote rewards, enter your Minecraft username so the reward reaches the right player. This is optional.
- Press Cast vote. You can vote for the same server once every 24 hours.
What counts toward ranking
Rankings use votes from the last 30 days. That keeps the list fresh, so older servers cannot sit on the top spots forever. Logged-in votes also feed each server's monthly top-voter list.
For server owners
To offer rewards you install a Votifier-compatible plugin on your server, then enter your server's Votifier address, port and public key on your listing. Test the connection from your dashboard before relying on it. Be careful with rewards: a fair, modest reward is better than one that tempts people to cheat.
Fair voting
Fake or purchased votes are not allowed and can lead to a listing being removed. We use rate limits and checks to protect the ranking, and we would rather have a smaller list that is honest.
