PNG is a still image that works everywhere. The animated SVG plays on websites and in browsers but not on every server list or in Discord.
Banners for server lists
Server lists, forums and Discord communities show a wide banner above your listing. Pick a theme that matches your game mode, add your server name and download it as a PNG. Listings on MCServerShare get a matching animated banner automatically and can download it from their dashboard.
Banners are 1200×300 (a 4:1 ratio), which most server lists accept. Most also let you upload your own artwork if you have it.
Frequently asked questions

- Can I use the banner on Discord or my website?
