Server Status Checker

Is a server online? Players, version, MOTD, icon and plugins for Java and Bedrock.

“Auto” tries Java and Bedrock. Add a port with address:port if it isn't the default (25565 Java, 19132 Bedrock).

What the checker shows

Type any Minecraft server address to see whether it's online, how many players are connected, the version it advertises, its MOTD and icon, and how long it took to respond. It works for both Java and Bedrock servers.

If a server shows as offline

Double-check the address and port. Java uses 25565 and Bedrock 19132 by default. If you host it yourself, make sure the port is forwarded on your router (TCP for Java, UDP for Bedrock) and allowed by your firewall. Servers that are restarting, or that block status requests, can also look offline for a moment.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my server show as offline when I can join?
The checker connects from the internet, like a stranger would. If you only join from your own network, a port forward, firewall rule or DNS record may be missing for outside players. The checklist under an offline result points at the usual causes.
What ports do Java and Bedrock use?
Java Edition uses TCP port 25565 by default. Bedrock Edition uses UDP port 19132. If you use a custom port, enter it as address:port.
Is it safe to check my server here?
Yes. It only reads the same public status info anyone sees in the multiplayer list. Nothing is changed on your server.
Can I check a server I don't own?
Yes. Any public server address works, and you can share the result with the Share result button.
