About economy servers
Economy servers build gameplay around money. Players earn from jobs, selling resources, running shops or trading at auction, then spend on land, gear and upgrades. A healthy economy makes everything feel connected: farmers sell to builders, builders buy from enchanters, and prices move with demand.
Some servers are pure survival with a market bolted on. Others, such as Skyblock and prison, depend on the economy. What matters is that money is hard enough to earn to feel valuable, but not so hard that new players give up.
What to look for in a economy server
- Player shops or auctions, not only an admin shop.
- Several ways to earn: jobs, trading, quests.
- Inflation control, such as sinks and taxes, so money stays valuable.
- Clear rules against scamming and market manipulation.
